Montreal Canadiens vs. Washington Capitals
Tonight the Habs play the suddenly deadly Washington Capitals in a game that has many meanings.
Perhaps most importantly, a win tonight would bring the Habs into a tie with Boston for the division lead. While the Habs have shown much improvement in the last bunch of games on the road, they have struggled most of the year away from the friendly confines of “Le Centre Bell.” With the division title so within their grasps, these players must be chomping at the bit, dying to take it from those hated Bruins.
The Capitals have been playing incredible hockey as of late, winning 8 games in a row. While it would be easy to shrug off a loss tonight, what a statement it would be to be the team that stopped the rolling Capitals. A win would once again prove the doubters wrong. Show that this team can, in fact, run with the big dogs.

Keys to the Game
“Play to your opponents. Don’t be intimidated by this Washington team. You are just as fast, physical and talented as them and can match them in every facet of the game!”
I expect the pregame speech by Kirk Muller to go something like this.
Montreal 5 – Washington 3
